Davison Silungwe was born in Mufulira, Zambia, in 1971. He is the holder of Msc degree in Agriculture from Massey University, New Zealand; Bsc degree from University of Zambia, Zambia; and Diploma in Crop Science from Natural Resources Development College, Zambia.

He has more than 27 year extensive experience in seed industry. He has worked in various seed companies in Zambia, where he held different roles in different departments such as research, production and sales. Actively and fully, he has contributed to the improved of the food security at household, district, province and national levels. He also worked for UNHCR Zambia, as an Environmental Officer, where he played a pivotal role in the improvement of the wellbeing of Persons of Concern (Refugees) in Kala and Mwange refugee camps, Zambia.

Currently, he is the Supply Chain and Operations Manager, responsible for the operations and seed production in Zambia and Kenya.

Aubrey Kalangwa is a Holder of a Bsc Degree in Agroforestry from the Copperbelt University, Zambia. He is also in the process of completing his MSc degree in Accounting from Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a certified seed Inspector by Seed control and certification Institute (SCCI), Zambia.

He has over 6 years’ experience in agricultural crops management, crop protection, Seed production, agriculture research and seed quality management.

He worked at Syngenta as Field production Officer and the roles where parent-line characterization, basic seeds production, Seed production research and seed field inspections for Soybeans, Wheat and Maize crops. He also worked at Zambia Sugar PLC where he was involved in Sugar cane production as Field Supervisor.

Saji Hope holds a Diploma in Production and Operations Management & Mechanical Technician from Northern Technical College. He Comes on board with over 5years experience from Zambian Breweries PLC in Inventory Management through efficient Distribution Process Optimization approach (DPO),FIFO, LIFO,5S and 3R methodology with 100% Mindset technique towards achieving customer satisfaction.
A safety departmental champion who conducted safety awareness trainings such as territorial safety, SAM and LOTOTO, Environmental Aspects and Impacts, SIF Potential, SIF Precursor and 5 SIF Behaviors towards ZERO injuries target.

Ernest Liftwali Mubita is a holder of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accounts Licentiate from Zambia

Institute of Chartered Accountants. He holds a Diploma in Accounts and a certificate in Financial Crimes

and Investigations from the National Institute of Public Administration. He has several years of working

Experience working in major Zambian banks.

Paul holds a diploma in electrical engineering and has over 6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry at the centre of production. Paul looks forward to incorporating his engineering skills and knowledge in QBS as a plant supervisor so as to run the plant with minimum down time and achieve good production efficiency and also good plant efficiency . Quality at source is always in Paul’s mind and he always makes sure there is quality conformity in the seed coming out of the plant.

Julia holds an advanced certificate in agriculture from the Popota Agriculture Training College with experience in seed processing, hand pollination, plant operations and warehouse management.
Julia has been working at Qualibasic seed company from 2018 to date.
Julia is very passionate about Agriculture and she firmly believes that it has the potential to greatly contribute to Africa’s economic growth and sustainability.
